The GPNWRTC conducts Hunt tests
under the rules and
regulations of the
AKC Hunt Test program and is
licensed by the American
Kennel Club.
The Greater Pacific put on our Spring
Hunt Test at St. Louis Ponds in Gervais on March 24th-25th. Thanks to
all who entered and ran dogs, came out just to watch, or helped work the
event. We were blessed with great weather (considering it snowed
6" three days before the test and poured every day for a week after the
test!). The judges put on some challenging series and all ribbons
were well earned. Please mark your calendar now for our next Hunt
Test,
September 8th-9th in Scio/Jefferson.
Our Board is meeting on April 11th in Tigard to discuss what's next. We're considering an informal training day at Sauvie Island in May, as well as planning our 5-Singles competition in late June.
